Public Transportation Information

Athens Transit provides an economical means of transportation for Athens residents and their guests. The costs* of the transit one way are:

$1.50 (Passengers Aged 6-64)

$.75 (with ID: Senior Citizens, Medicare Recipients, and Individuals with Disabilities)

Free (with ID: UGA Students, Faculty and Staff)

Suggested Routes

The following Athens Transit routes bring you close to the office (College Station/Barnett Shoals Stop). Consult the routes below to identify the route** that fits your location and the timepoints that match your scheduled appointment. Allow 10-15 minutes walking time once you reach the College Station Road & Barnett Shoals Road stop.

Route 22 East Athens

Route 25 Lexington Road and Gaines School Road

Route 26 College Station and Barnett Shoals

 

Directions

Once the bus stops, turn right onto Barnett Shoals (not passing in between the 2 Shell Gas Stations). Walk approximately 1/2 a mile (passing the fire station on your right at the half way point), turning right onto Cedar Rock Trace. My office will be the 2nd building on your left (front door facing the Chiropractor Office) at 105A Cedar Rock Trace. Look for the maroon sign with the compass by the door.

 

Suggested Travel Schedule

If you start by taking Route 25, this will bring you to the corner of College Station and Barnett Shoals at :45 past the hour. This will give you 15 minutes to make it for an appointment on the hour. Appointments typically end at :50 past the hour. If you take Route 26, this arrives at the corner of College Station and Barnett Shoals at :05 after the hour. This will also give you 15 minutes to make it to the bus after our appointment with limited time waiting. Please let us know if you are using the bus system so we can ensure that sessions start and end promptly.
